Heather Johnson is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Wisconsin and is nationally certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She received her Masters of Acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. During clinical rotations Heather had the privilege of interning at several clinics; including: Edith Davis Teaching Clinic, Burnsville Natural Health Center, Salvation Army Harbor Light Natural Care Center, and Woodwinds Hospital.
Heather has experience treating patients with a wide array of conditions, including: common cold, musculoskeletal pain, neuropathy, digestive concerns, sleeping issues, post surgical orthopedics, anxiety/depression, gynecological issues, fertility and lactation support. Heather also has experience supporting those going through cancer treatments and experiencing negative side effects as well as comfort support for the terminally ill, with such diseases as Lou gehrig’s Disease (ALS).
In her final year of graduate school Heather had the privilege of traveling to Tianjin, China. While there, she studied at The First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University, allowing for advanced and specialized training in stroke rehabilitation, women’s health and pediatrics.
